The colorful Aleph-Bet set has been cut from sustainably harvested rubber-wood. We’ve then colored each letter by hand, using a non-toxic, child-safe dye, and sealed them with pure tung oil. This process leaves the letters with a smooth, matte finish. Tung oil is a natural, non-toxic oil derived from the tung tree and carries a distinct scent that dissipates with time.
Because they are made from natural materials, and in small batches, each Aleph-Bet set is unique. Specifically, natural markings and variations in the wood-grain makes the letters take to the dye in different ways, so that your letters will be subtly different from those in the set pictured. These unique characteristics make each set beautiful in its own way!
Contact with any liquid may cause the color to run. AVOID DIRECT CONTACT WITH LIQUID. To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth. We recommend this product for ages 3 and up.
